The purpose of the Proposers’ Day is to familiarize potential applicants with the NIST Federal Funding Opportunity to establish and operate a National Network for Manufacturing Innovation (NNMI) Institute in an area of U.S. advanced manufacturing national need. Award(s) issued from this funding opportunity will provide financial resources to startup and operate a national effort in a specific technology area identified by the awardee/s. This Proposers’ Day is for informational purposes only and attendance is not a prerequisite for submitting an application or for receiving an award. It will provide, however, a valuable opportunity for interested parties to learn about the competition, ask questions, and receive answers regarding the solicitation. There is no fee to attend, but registration is required.
